I'm not exactly how our meal plan will look this week with my quick trip, plus the fatigue and exhaustion from the adrenaline and excitement, etc. I have a few ideas, but still trying to figure out best way to execute!
For you guys, I have a few ideas for the week...hope you enjoy them!
On to this week's yummy recipes!!!
P.S. Blessed to have paid cash for the car!
Life was flipped turned up side down last week. In a wonderful way.
On Monday afternoon, my husband and I planned to go purchase a "new to him" car...as he is long overdue for an upgrade. We debated on a crossover SUV to tote the boys around in or a sedan that is practical for work-home travel. We opted for the Camry, with the hope that it really will run forever and could be the boys' first car. (We would have them 'buy it from us' and help them build up savings before they become drivers. (Which isn't that far off!)
Anyways, about an hour before we were set to leave for the dealership, I received an email from my publicist about a national media opportunity that we've been waiting 5 years for!!! Needless to say, we bought the car and then switched into excited energy mode...getting the segment planned, sketched out, travel booked, etc. I'm heading to NYC this week to tape the show...and will share more

The $5 Dinner Mom
I have a little problem. I can not make a meal for my family that costs more than $5. My mind is filled with prices on my favorite ingredients, and frugal recipes that can be made for less than 5 bucks. It’s unnatural, really. But, my pocketbook thanks me!
